To the Staff and Residents of Webster Manor:
Thank you for your kind expression of sympathy after Ted's passing. The thoughts on behalf of the residents and staff at Webster Manor were very much appreciated.
I have been trying to put together this letter to express our experiences over the past (almost) two and a half years while Ted was a resident and part of your community.
We have nothing but praise and thanks for everyone who had any contact with Ted. Whether it was an RN, CNA, PT, Aide, Kitchen Staff, Janitorial Staff or Office Staff, everyone treated Ted with respect and kindness. Ted needed assistance in many ways and it seemed everyone was of aware of this and took care of his needs as soon as possible. When the Greendale Men's Chorus came to sing they always had him ready in his green jacket so that he could join them in song. When ever we were able to take him out, they took care to make sure he was ready and prepared for a long day out. Each of these, in addition to the many more personal things done for him, gave us comfort in knowing he was being cared for in as kind and gentle a way possible.
I live only five minutes away from Webster Manor and was fortunate to be able to visit with Ted twice a day, only missing a few days over the course of his stay. I was able to see the many ways in which the staff treated not only Ted but the other residents. I cannot express how grateful my family is that Ted was part of the Webster Manor family.
We, as a family, would be glad to be a reference for any other family who is considering Webster Manor. It is a difficult process to go through, deciding who will care for you or a loved one. Without a doubt, the decision that we made to move Ted into Webster Manor is one that we have no regrets about, and are glad that if he could not be at home then he was in the care of our "other family" at Webster Manor.
With thanks and gratitude,
Mary H. |

Dear Mr. Lincoln:
Congratulations on Webster Manor's recent perfect score from the Department of Public Health (DPH) survey team. Before applying to have my father live at Webster Manor, I did a computer search and found likewise perfect ratings from the DPH at that time, which is a tare occurrence among nursing homes, I might add. My positive findings were also confirmed by my great uncle who was a resident of Webster Manor at the time. Since then, I have had the pleasure of knowing many of your staff, all of whom impress me greatly. Thanks for all the great work which makes Webster Manor such an enriching, caring environment!
Most sincerely,
Gregory S.
P.S. Please feel free to quote any or all of this letter in one of your upcoming newsletters. |

Dear Friends:
It is wonderful to be back home again after my stay at Webster Manor. Iris important to me to tell you how grateful I am for the good care I received. There was never an impatient word or a feeling that we were being demanding, although we probably all were at times. The informality was most pleasant and you prevented what might have been a very institutional atmosphere. The meals were good and everyone who worked on the floor was easy and nice to be with.
Certainly it was easy to tell that everyone.in the unit was seriously dedicated to the work they were doing and it became apparent that each one was a vital part of the working of the unit. While the work is obviously very important it was nice to do see a sense of humor at various times among the nurses.
I am very grateful to you all. |

Webster Manor care exceptional at every level.
Recently, I had the, opportunity to observe the care given at the Webster Manor on School Street.
I am happy to say it was a most satisfying experience. The care. rendered, at every level, was exceptional. The residents of this facility are treated with dignity, respect, and most importantly, love.
l, would suggest that people visit The Manor and experience for themselves the caring attitude that is conveyed throughout the facility You might want to volunteer, a few hours of time, if possible. You are likely to find that you receive much more than you give.
The Webster Manor is a credit to the communities it serves.
I offer my deepest admiration for those who care for our loved ones when it is not longer possible for us to do so ourselves.

For the way your own special touch.

Dear Friends at Webster Manor:
It is with a grateful heart that my brother and our families thank you for the care and compassion shown to our dad while he was a resident of the "Manor." It allowed us to have some peace of mind knowing he was in good hands. The world needs more people like you. |

We would like to take this time to thank everyone who was part of Gerda's life these last 2 ½ years. From the kitchen, the entertainment, from the therapist to the offices, and especially to the Unit I Staff, who kept her smiling, day in and day out!
It is hard for a family to have to admit a beloved mother to a nursing facility for care. You always hope that it isn't necessary. We could not have chosen a better place.
This place was her home, and you all were her extended family. You let her into your everyday lives with stories about your husbands, boyfriends, and children. Gerda did have this particular "charm" of getting to know someone. It only took her half an hour or so to get people to open up. She so loved you all and we wanted to make sure you knew this.
Again, to you all, our heartfelt thanks for making Gerda's life there so enjoyable and happy.
Sincerely,
Gerda's Family |

| Our sincere thanks to Lisa, the unit I staff, and the therapy team for cooperation and monumental efforts in helping our beloved mother to regain enough strength and dexterity to return to her home at Christopher Heights. We would not have had this result without you. it was a real team effort and you are all to be commended. |

To the entire staff on Unit I:
Please accept my sincere thanks for all you did for my wife during her stay. You were all superb and deserve a standing ovation. |

We would like to thank you for the great care Aunt Maude received while at your facility. We found everyone to be kind, informative, easy to talk to, and caring. If I ever have to place anyone else in a nursing home, I would have no doubts about sending them to your facility.
Thanks again. |
